All but one of these images are from my Stella series. On March 14, 2017,  Winter Storm Stella came to town with three feet of snow and a fierce north wind.  She stayed for two days.  On March 16, I ventured out to see what Stella left behind:  I found beautiful drifts with stunning light and shadow a few feet from the back door.  Along the western end of the Whitney Point Dam, I found incredibly detailed, compacted mini drifts.  Ephemeral bas relief. As Minor White said, "One should not only photograph things for what they are but for what else they are."
